A crayon is a stick of pigmented wax used for writing or drawing. Crayons are easy to work with and are especially kid-friendly. They can be used to cover large areas quickly. There are a wide range of color choices for crayons and they tent to stay true to their colors. In addition, it is an inexpensive are medium.
However, one challenge in using crayons is that it can dull very fast and even breaks easily. As a result, it is usually difficult to get consistent lines and make precise and controlled drawings with crayons. In addition, different colors cannot blend well and tends to cause patchy layers.
